New Website, Same Identity
TCGdex has received a major upgrade! Same project, same goals, now with better tools and a cleaner experience. This update focuses on usability, speed, and expanding the ways contributors and users can interact with the Pokémon TCG database. Here’s what’s new and why it matters.
Card Editor
The new Card Editor makes managing the database faster, easier, and more intuitive for both new and existing contributors. Updating card information no longer requires tedious manual edits through TypeScript files, the interface guides you through each field and ensures data consistency.
Changes are directly integrated with the database: proposals can be submitted and made into a public PR through the project’s GitHub repository, simplifying collaboration greatly.

Modern Design
The website now features a modern design that reflects the project’s evolution over time. Navigation is cleaner, pages load faster, and the interface adapts better to different devices and screen sizes.
While the website is still expanding its feature set, all previous functionalities are present, and new features will be added throughout the year. With a new framework under the hood, the website is faster and more responsive than ever.

Blog
The site now includes a blog for updates, insights, and announcements. This addition allows me to share behind-the-scenes development updates.
Future blog content will include:
- Updates about the Pokémon TCG database
- Website enhancements and feature releases
- Technical articles
- and more
Multi-Language Support
The new website improves multi-language support, aiming to cover all languages of current TCG releases (work in progress). This will make TCGdex more accessible to users around the world and easier to contribute to in multiple languages.

Compatibility & Data Safety
Users of the previous collection manager will feel right at home. No data should be deleted during the upgrade. If anything seems missing or incorrect after the transition, contact us on Discord for a quick resolution.
Looking Ahead
While this took WAY more time that I estimated at the beggining (project started in January 2025) I feel it is now stable enough to be presentable to you all !
If you encounter any error or problem, don’t hesitate to join the Discord & speak directly to us trough it !
